Lauren Paap, MAOM, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. and ABT (NCCAOM)®, AOBTA®-CP, CH
Lauren began her training at Zen Shiatsu at Charles River Institute for Healing and Inner Arts and Acupressure Therapy Institute, graduating with a certificate in Acupressure Shiatsu under the guidance of Barbara Blanchard. Continuing her studies with Michael DeAgro, she earned a Postgraduate Clinical Shiatsu Studies certificate.

To further her education, Lauren enrolled in the Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program at New England School of Acupuncture*, studying the Traditional Chinese Medicine style of Acupuncture and Herbs, as well as Japanese style of Acupuncture. Lauren is a Diplomate as an Asian Bodywork Therapist with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)® and maintains an office in Cambridge and Natick, MA practicing Acupuncture, Asian Bodywork Therapy (Acupressure, Shiatsu, Tuina, Qigong), as well as Hypnotherapy, Breathwork and Meditation.

With a lifelong passion for learning and building community, and with the support of her mentors, Lauren created Eastern Medicinal Therapies Education Center (EMTEC). Its mission is to inspire learning, create community, and offer NCCAOM PDA’s for Acupuncturists, Asian Bodywork Therapists, Clinical Qigong Practitioners, as well as other Eastern Modalities Practitioners and enthusiasts.
